Long long time ago, in the year 1928 a baby girl was born to a very poor family. Due to the family poverty, she was not given any education until she married. This young couple led a nomadic life traveling from state to state until her husband settled down as a cook working for a British serviceman in Terendak camp, Melaka. By the stroke of fate in 1962, the husband passed away and 34 years old widow carried on as a cook although she can't understand English. Life has to carry on with the 2 sons and 3 daughters. She worked hard to provide meals and education to the children until they can stand on their own feet. Eventually until all the children married and settle down with a lot of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Unfortunately, in 2010 she was struck with colon cancer. She needs no medication and leave happily until she passed away on 20 December 2012. She may not be the greatest mother in the world but she should be Hall of Great. No prize for guessing who this lady is. She is my beloved mother. Bye bye Mummy. May you rest in peace and Daddy is waiting for you.
